GREEN VALLEYS
Our Vision
The Green Valleys Project is much more than just an energy and agricultural initiative. It represents a holistic approach that aims to redefine how we view agriculture and energy in the 21st century. Our vision is clear: we aim to create an integrated and sustainable production chain that not only ensures energy self-sufficiency but also contributes to revitalizing the local economy and protecting the environment.

The Green Valleys Project integrates the concepts of Hydrogen Valleys and Greenhouses, merging two innovative ideas into one comprehensive and cohesive model. Our greenhouses are designed with sustainability and zero waste in mind, efficiently utilizing every available resource and form of energy.
Hydrogen Valleys and Greenhouses: A Combination of Innovation
At the heart of our model lies the concept of circular economy, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Organic waste from cultivation and other agricultural activities, in cooperation with an independent biogas facility, is converted through anaerobic digestion into biogas. This biogas is purified and upgraded to high-purity biomethane, subsequently used in dual-fuel engines to produce electricity and heat. This energy, in turn, powers our hydroponic crops, creating an entirely sustainable production environment.
Circular Economy: Maximizing Resource Efficiency

By combining all these elements, we create a model that maximizes resource utilization, from water and carbon dioxide to organic waste, significantly reducing environmental impacts. In doing so, the Green Valleys Project becomes a benchmark for other regions in Greece and Europe, providing a living example of how innovation can enhance sustainable development and create long-term added value.
